🔬 Research Interests

  • Offline Handwritten Signature Verification

Focus on feature‑extraction problems in offline signature verification. Traditional deep‑learning methods usually fix the feature space and fail to obtain optimal feature representations. Therefore, deep features are expanded (stretched) and dimension‑reduced (compressed) to find the optimal subspace. Specifically, random projection is adopted to expand features to higher dimensions, and then linear discriminant analysis is used to extract key information, so as to find the optimal feature subspace and effectively distinguish genuine signatures from forged ones.

  • Complex Network Community Detection

This research explores the laws of complex networks over temporal evolution. A temporal smoothness framework is used to smooth subtle changes of nodes and edges over time and capture the inherent trends of dynamic evolution. The framework can reveal the evolutionary mechanism hidden behind data and provide a new perspective for understanding complex systems, showing broad potential for practical applications.
